It's a little late, but I wanted to jump in and wish you all a very happy and healthy 2025. If you've been following me on social media you'll notice that things have been quiet over the latter part of 2024, so I'd like to let you know what's hapenning here in the studio.
I returned to academic study last Autumn, which has left me less time to devote to Hotchi-Witchi and my painting practice, details of which you can find at debbielear.com. However, the Christmas break has allowed me to plan for 2025 and to allocate some time to create some new designs which will be in the Etsy shop at the end of January. Hotch-Witchi.Shop will remain closed until I complete my studies. I have also pulled out of physical galleries for the time being, but I'd like to extend heartfelt thanks to all of the artisans at The Makers Galleries for their support over the past couple of years. If you're around Usk, pop in and see the beautiful work on offer.
So, what's the plan? Well, I will be selling at some craft markets in Glastonbury, because I love the place and the friends I made there during 2024. I'll also be offering 'pop-up' online sales events to those of you who have subscribed to my newsletter. Details will be sent to you in advance of each event.
I'm very much looking forward to continuing with my studies, which seem to be informing my new paintings which I'll share with you over the coming months.
